    Bows and arrows have been used by humans for thousands of years and in many different cultures. Steel plate armour was only common a few hundred years and mostly in Europe. And a good plate armour would probably not be penetrated by an arrow from English longbow anyway. Why not adding that Lars couldn't penetrate a modern tank with his arrows? The guy shot more than twice as fast as the other competing speed shooters AND he can do amazing tricks. Just enjoy the show!

Trashing modern Archery as ineffective to prove his technique is better, pretty lame watch Kassai Lajos videos to see that he makes modern style work, only Hunters and Olympic archers use a sight and most modern archers are using both eyes, even many using a sight so a lot of errors in his statements. Also Lars is shooting a very light draw bow at short range, the bow was a long range weapon when used in war, his techniques are fun and interesting and he has skill but he trashed both history and modern methods to prove his better lol

  95. Fantastic skills but the commentator can't stop going on about firing arrows – you SHOOT arrows, you only fire a gun! I would be a little dubious about medieval manuscripts accurately showing how archers shot, I think they often showed positions that were easier to draw, not necessarily how they actually did it! A lot quicker my my 12 shots a minute though, well done indeed! Mad Jack Churchill would be proud!
