Calisthenics Leg Workout ( NO EQUIPMENT )

– What’s up, guys? It’s Chris Heria. Welcome to another vlog. A lot of you guys have been
requesting more workouts with no equipment. So I’m gonna be taking you guys downstairs for a calisthenics leg workout routine that you can do anywhere. Let’s get started. It’s kinda chilly today out in Miami so I wore my new Heria hoodie. We’re about to get warmed up. And I know I said I wasn’t gonna be using any equipment today, but to take this workout to the next level I’m gonna be adding some extra
weight with the Heria vest. And if you want to build
more muscle and strength then I would highly
recommend to use one as well. You can pick one up at But you don’t need the vest
to do any of these exercises, it’s still gonna be a highly
effective leg workout routine. And we’re gonna be targeting
all the muscles in our legs from our glutes, hamstrings,
quads, to our calf, as well as your inner and
outer quads and hamstrings. So if you have your Heria weight vest go ahead and put it on. And if you don’t, try this routine. And when you’re ready to build
more muscle and strength, pick up your weight vest at to add more resistance to your
exercises and your workouts. The only thing we’ll be using
for today’s workout routine is an elevated surface, so go ahead, open up to the Heria Pro app, find your calisthenics
leg workout routine, and let’s go ahead and get this started. The first exercise
we’re gonna be going for is squat jumps side to side. This is gonna be engaging
a little bit of everything from your glutes, outer quads,
hamstrings, and your calves. Let’s go for 20. (upbeat techno music) – [Automated Female Voice] Heria music. – Woo, all right. You should start feeling that already. All right, so let’s go ahead
and put how many you did. Next exercise we’re gonna
go for is sumo walks. These sumo squats are really
gonna engage your glutes, hamstrings, and outer quads. Make sure you stay low the
entire time and engage your core. Let’s go for 20. (upbeat techno music) – [Automated Female Voice] Heria music. – Woo, you should definitely
start feeling that by now. All right, let’s go ahead
and check that one off. Next on our list we have curtsy lunges. Let’s go for 10 each leg. Aside from maintaining a tight core, go slow and take your
time with this exercise as this exercise does require
balance and stabilization. Let’s go for it. (upbeat techno music) – [Automated Female Voice] Heria music. – Woo. All right, make sure to check
the curtsy lunge off the list. Next we have is box jumps. Let’s go for a quick 12. (slow techno music) – [Automated Female Voice] Heria music. – All right, let’s go ahead, (sighing heavily) check
that one off the list. We’re almost through with the first round. Next we have alternating toe taps. Let’s go for 20. We’re gonna bring one leg up. (slow techno music) All right, three more exercises left. Next we’re gonna be going
for assisted pistol squats. Let’s go ahead and do 10 each leg. (upbeat techno music) – [Automated Female Voice] Heria music. – Woo. Damn. That’s so much harder
with the weight vest on. It’s crazy. All right, two more exercises left. We have calf raises, and then we’re gonna finish
off with back and forth lunges. Let’s go for 20 calf raises. (slow techno music) – [Automated Female Voice] Heria music. – Oh, my calves, hamstrings,
and glutes are fired up. Now for the last move to
finish off the first round, we’re going for back and forth lunges. Let’s go for five on each leg. (slow techno music) – [Automated Female Voice] Heria music. – Woo. That completes round one. We have three more rounds to go. That’s gonna finish this workout routine. So thank you guys so
much for following along. Play this video back three more times to complete the workout routine. If you’re doing it with the vest on then maybe try it two more times. Training with the vest is a lot different than lifting weights. It demands a greater type of
strength from your entire body and builds more muscle
definition in a different way. So if you want to take your
training to the next level in every way, build more muscle and strength
during your workout routines then pick up a weight
vest at and start taking your
training to the next level. And while you’re there, check out the new hoodie
collection dropping this month that you see me wear here on the vlog. With words to live by from the vlog series like perfect practice makes perfect and big risks, big rewards. So if you enjoyed the workout routine don’t forget to smash that like

  5. Is your body calisthenics only? I am a girl and want a bigger rounder butt but I don’t want to go to the gym.

  6. Wow. You are amazing. Can you do a calisthenics for abs and arms please I am going to do this right now at the end of my long walk. Thanks for this video. I have nice legs and want to keep them nice

  7. Just received that exact same Heria hoodie in the mail today. This shit is so damn comfortable, good lookin on the new material bro!

  8. I would love to have that weight vest. But man shipping to the UK is extortionate pricing! Gutted you're USA based

  9. So I notice with a lot of calisthenics routines what a lot of people do Is they will do a variation of exercises (like in this video). They will do one set of each exercise and then when they have finished all the variations they take a break and repeat the whole thing. Why is this? And is this better than doing the conventional weight training thing of 4 sets for say one exercise and then moving to the next exercise?

Would really appreciate some advice, thanks!

  10. Where are the harmstrings? I dont know why are you calling this workout like "leg workout" whether you dont train properly the harmstrings. I'm disagree with this workout. You should call it "quads and calfs workout"

  11. This was a great video! I'm really happy that I found your channel. I fell out of working out a few years ago and slipped in to obesity. Just starting eating clean, and came across your video just now as I was searching for a good leg work out. This is day 1 for me, and I'm a little wiped from following along your video here – it's great that I was able to do all this from home. Day 1 is now done, and looking forward to working out again with you tomorrow for day 2.

  12. What is his backpack? Is it with extra weight for training or what? BTW do u guys have an Amazon link?

  13. Showed off one of your videos today at the gym! The trainers response was "Damn he is nothing but core strength".

  14. After completing first round.
Chris be like: Let's go for 3 more
I'll be like: R u kidding me, I can't even tell my legs after 1 round

  15. Nice and simple leg workout, stopped me from moping around the hotel making excuses about not having gym access. Although now I'm worried that Heria is going to hunt me down for doing this workout without an authorised Heria hoodie or vest… 😛

  16. Chris heria : Check out my new heria hoodie
Me : Ok but where's your?
Chris Heria : Don't need one I got Heria's abs

  17. This dude can explain pilate and then that looks stake boarding style. Try to do pilates at teenagers without him, this is impossible. This is not enough extreme.

  18. I never realizes that there was an assisted version of the pistol squat. I always just figured I'd just have to get really storng legs and it would eventually happen but this way you can work on balance too. Awesome.

  19. I did years of leg calisthenics and cycling before starting upper body work. My heavy ass legs gave me a very hard time on the pull-up bar.

  20. Thx so much Chris,, i am newbie,,, i can only do 2 rounds,,, hopefully i’ll improve by the following weeks,,, cheers bro,,

  21. Beu wat is that first song that hes playing when he first puts in the vest where the girl goes like "wah or ah"
